Since the protocol to get rid of Gertrude ‘yes, that's what I call my tumour’ has been put in place, it's time to get ready...
So I'm off to my third home ‘I'm lucky, I've got a main home, a second home (my work) and now a rest home’ to make the mask that will keep my head in place during the radiotherapy sessions.
It was a strange sensation, like having a facial, which lasted 30 minutes.
The mould was then used to make this pretty, trendy mask for 2024 for your fancy dress parties ....
I couldn't explain to you how radiotherapy works, so I found a more relevant video on YouTube....
It scares me a bit, you don't have to be claustrophobic....!!!
Anyway, to be Ironwoman, if you're claustrophobic, you're dead....
Next time I come back to my rest home.....it's for my first radiotherapy session.
Today was an average day.....
